About Ross:
Ross Pesek has an Associate degree from Central Community College- Columbus, a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State College and a Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University Of Nebraska, College Of Law. As a private attorney at Pesek Law LLC, Ross focuses on Criminal Defense, Immigration, and Accident and Injury cases. Ross has been lead counsel in federal and state criminal jury trials, argued before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Nebraska Court of Appeals as lead counsel, helped over 100 people achieve legal immigration status, and secured over a million dollars in settlements for injured clients.

Ross’s volunteer experience includes being an advocate for immigrants and their families and offering free legal services. He has established a free legal clinic at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in South Omaha, where he has provided free legal consultation to over 800 people since 2011. Ross also established the True Potential Scholarship program. In 2014 and 2015, True Potential respectively awarded 5 and 7 full-tuition scholarships to immigrant students attending community colleges who would otherwise not be eligible for financial aid, based on their immigration status. True Potential maximizes scholarship funds by requesting that each receiving institution match the funds awarded.

Ross also serves on the Matters on Tomorrow Board of Directors, the Metropolitan Community College Foundation Board of Directors, and the South Omaha Business Association (SOBA) Board of Directors.
