Following the announcement by President Barack Obama that he will take executive action on immigration reform, New American Economy Chairman John Feinblatt issued the following statement:

“President Obama’s comments today underline the urgency for immigration reform, but Administrative action alone will not solve this critical issue,” said John Feinblatt, Chairman of New American Economy. “That is why we will continue to push for what Americans have asked for and deserve – Congress and the White House working together and developing solutions that fix our broken immigration system.”
