Following the results of the George Senate runoffs, NAE Executive Director Jeremy Robbins issued the following statement:

“For decades, there has always been an excuse not to fix our broken immigration system,” said Jeremy Robbins, Executive Director of New American Economy. “It is now evident that the votes are there in both the House and Senate to protect Dreamers, create a path to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants, and modernize our visa system so that America may continue to attract talent from around the world. Immigration should top the agenda for 2021.”
