Supreme Court Will Review DACA/DAPA Case The American Immigration Council does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office. We aim to provide analysis regarding the implications of the election on the U.S. immigration system.

Today, the Supreme Court decided to review the Fifth Circuit’s decision in the Texas lawsuit that blocks implementation of President Obama’s 2014 deferred action initiatives—DAPA and expanded DACA. The Court is likely to hear oral arguments in April 2016. We can expect a decision by the end of June 2016.
