The interactive map below shows population estimates for every county in Iowa between 2010 and 2018 from the U.S. Census Bureau. The map allows the user to identify which counties were growing and which were shrinking and how big of a role immigration played in each. When hovering over a county, the user is able to view population change from international migration and the sum of domestic migration plus births minus deaths.
Other population increase and decrease = Domestic migration & births minus deaths
