Letters

Published: March 9, 2021

The American Immigration Council joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association and other organizations in urging U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to fully implement the provisions of the Emergency Stopgap USCIS Stabilization Act, legislation which was signed into law in October 2020.

In the letter, the Council and partners offer recommendations on how USCIS can and should implement the legislation to ensure the agency remains solvent while also efficiently and effectively adjudicating all immigration benefit applications and petitions.
