The American Immigration Council had a high-impact year in 2023, from launching a comprehensive border solutions campaign to being at the forefront of challenging harmful legislation and policies in the courts to shaping the narrative around the positive contributions of immigrants across the nation. As we look back on everything we have accomplished since January, we are hopeful for the impact we will continue to make, even in an uncertain election year ahead. In this end-of-year report, read how we are deploying the full suite of approaches to advance a fairer, more humane immigration system; inform decision-makers and the public discourse on immigration with facts and sophisticated research; and build a more welcoming, inclusive country from the ground up.
