Council Urges Biden Administration to Ensure All Immigrant Visas are Processed

The American Immigration Council led other organizations in a letter urging the Biden administration to take administrative action by September 30, 2021 to ensure that all immigrant visas (family-based preference, employment-based and diversity visas) are processed up to the numerical limits, to avoid the loss of visas and further increase to the backlog. The letter also urged the administration to support any congressional efforts to recapture unused visas or otherwise increase green card numbers.
