Dan Wallace

Managing Director, Research and Development

Dan Wallace is the Managing Director of Research and Development at the American Immigration Council. Prior to joining the Council, Dan served as Deputy Managing Director at New American Economy, a research and advocacy organization working in the newest immigrant gateways to build a more inclusive country from the ground up. Dan has worked on immigration issues for the past 10 years in a variety of contexts, including grassroots organizing, local government, federal advocacy, and global philanthropy. Dan previously served as a policy advisor in the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, as a project consultant at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Germany, and as a graduate assistant at the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition. Dan holds a M.Ed. in Community Development and a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
