Tanaz Moghadam

Project Manager for the American Immigrant Representation Project

Tanaz Moghadam is Project Manager for the American Immigrant Representation Project, an initiative seeking to mobilize attorneys to provide pro bono representation to detained immigrants in removal proceedings. Tanaz joined the Council from the labor law firm of Bredhoff & Kaiser, where she represented unions and pension funds in federal and state court litigation. From 2009-2011, Tanaz was a Skadden Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants’ Rights Project and worked on impact litigation seeking to protect the constitutional rights of non-citizens nationwide. Tanaz graduated Columbia Law School as a Kent and Stone scholar and clerked for the Honorable Judge Jan E. DuBois of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Tanaz earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from New York University College of Arts & Science.
