Laila Khan

Laila Khan is the Research Associate for the Transparency team at the American Immigration Council. She is responsible for conducting research on immigration issues related to transparency work, and analyzing data received through FOIA requests. Previously, Laila interned in the Economic Empowerment department at the International Rescue Committee, assisting newly arrived refugees attain economic independence. She also served as a Research & Policy intern with FWD.us, aiding with policy analysis and research on state and federal issues affecting immigrant populations. Laila holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Middle East/South Asia Studies from UC Davis, and a master’s degree in International Migration & Public Policy from the London School of Economics.
